This music video is interesting because its not the same as a 'normal' music video. It has many different scenes and shots that you would'nt normaly see in music videos. Usually there is a lot of cars, girls and 'bling'. This video makes you feel like you're with Chris Brown on his 'journey' and 'behind the scenes'. This is a very fun video as Chris Brown is with his friends and they're all laughing and messing around while working.

Music Videos and Ideiology.

In Adele's music video for someone like you is black and white to give more of a depressed atmosphere. The meaning behind the song is that she still loves 'him' but she knows she cant have him and she's finally trying to move on. She comes to the conclusion that she's just going to have to find 'someone like him'. During the music video she is the only person around and she walks around by herself. This gives the idea she's lost in her own thoughts and she doesn't notice anyone around her.

Connotation and Denotation homework.

This advert is for the perfume Cool Water Wave by Davidoff. The connotation is the woman in the advert is in the water, the denotations of this is that it emphasises the name of the perfume and also it shows she is 'cool' and refreshed as the water hits her. This is showing that you will feel the same when you wear the perfume. Another connotation is the colour blue. The denotaion is that the colour blue symbolizes one of the five elements, water. This is what the perfume is based on. Also, the colour blue can be interpreted as being a colour which represents calm and serenity which may also show that this is what the perfume will make you feel like. One other connotation is that the woman in the advert is wearing white. The denotation is that white is also another colour which represents calmness and purity. This maybe showing that the perfume will make you feel pure and calm when you have sprayed it on yourself.
